We can meet wherever works best for you. Most people prefer the comfort of their own home, but if you’d rather meet somewhere else in Christchurch, we can chat about other options during your first session. We also offer video calls throughout New Zealand.

No problem, if you feel like you need more time, just let us know and we can adjust your session plan, including any changes to pricing.

Once your book is ready to be published, it will take approx two weeks.

With both of our options, your book can be as long or as short as you would like. We’ll discuss how long you would like your book to be at our first meeting.

For The Whole Story and The Open Book there’s no set time that you need to commit to, we work week by week, so you can go at your own pace and can stop whenever you’re ready.

Absolutely! If having a family member or friends helps you to feel more comfortable or you would like them there, they’re more than welcome. Just let us know in advance. Alternatively, if you would like your loved ones to help support your writing, we can arrange this too and can discuss this at our first meeting.

If you would prefer to meet less frequently, or you would rather have your check-ins over video or on the phone, we can arrange this too. If you would prefer this please let us know by sending through an email to office@wordsfromthewise.co.nz

Not at all! While Words from the Wise is designed with older people in mind, it’s not limited to them. If you or someone you know would like help compiling their memories into a beautiful keepsake, please get in touch via email at office@wordsfromthewise.co.nz

As we’re based in Christchurch, in-person check-ins are currently only available locally. However, if you’re in New  Zealand you can still enjoy our service, we will just hold your sessions over video call instead. No matter where you’re based, you will still receive the same beautifully edited and professionally bound book at the end of the process.

We completely understand that things can happen. You’re welcome to pause or stop your subscription with two weeks’ notice. When you’re ready, we can either publish what you’ve completed so far or pick up right from where you left off.
