The people we love won’t be around forever. And one day, the stories they tell us will be the ones we wish we could hear again.

That’s why I started Words from the Wise, to give people a way to write those stories down.

I sit down with you or your loved one and chat about the stories, memories and moments that have made them who they are, then bring them together in a book.

How does our process work?

    A few chats, a lifetime of stories.
    We sit down and chat about your life, the people you’ve known, the places you’ve been and the things you remember.

  • Write

    I put the stories into a book.
    I’ll take what we’ve talked about and bring it together in their own words.

  • Keep

    A book to come back to.
    Once we’re finished, you’ll have a book filled with their stories that you can look back on, share with family and keep for years to come.

What inspired Words from the Wise?

Words from the Wise is a project close to my heart, as it brings together the things I’m most passionate about - writing, storytelling and meaningful connection.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realised just how much I don’t know about those closest to me, especially my grandma, who is a very special person in my life, and my mum, whose passing left a big gap in our lives.

Now 30, I’ve become even more aware of how little I know about my mum, and how much of her life story will always be lost. It’s made me realise just how important it is to share these stories while we still can, especially those of our grandparents.

With a background in journalism and several years of experience in corporate communications, I wanted to create something that would help others capture and hold onto their own stories while there’s still time to tell them.

I look forward to helping you tell yours.
